Remembering Tita Lynne

Tomorrow is tata lynne's bday...nov 25...hay! how i miss you tata lynne...i became close to tata lynne starting my college days...she would call me up and tell me to pass by feu and have lunch at mix and match...or pixie pops...since i am studying at ue recto and she is teaching at feu...then before i got married she told me to follow my heart...when almost everyone in my family was a little bit against it...hehehhe...tata lynne would always say kung mahal mo ipaglaban mo...she is always in love...that time i was really drawn close to her since she was the only one who didnt question sef's background...hahahah super protective kasi ng family ko and first one to get married kaya lahat ng higpit naranasan namin...but for tita lynne naku sya lang ang nagiisang nag sabi "follow your heart" so my friendship with tita lynne began...tita lynne and me have so many things in common kaya nag click kami...like we both love sanrio! when i was a little girl she would give me christmas gifts na sanrio...so we loved to hang out at giftgate...and eventhough she is a dean she uses my gift umbrella hello kitty! and we both love stationaries, dixie cups, and cute little memo pads! and one thing i cant forget is the calling cards that i make... she was so amazed na nakagawa ako ng calling cards na cute and note cards...she would sleep at our house in sampaloc before because of it... then she loves to swim so sinasamahan nya ako dalhin si bianca for swimming lessons...and nagalit nga sya kasi the coach would throw bianca in the water and bianca would cry and scream...ayaw nya ng ganon...hay...those where the days! and she would always call me up and eat at kamay kainan, lutong bahay, dulcinea, gloria maris...and a lot lot more super sarap kumain ni tata lynne...and she love chocolates too! hay! one more thing i remember was when i was in highschool...super baha and she lives in san juan me and monette walked in the flood hangang sa bahay nya...she would heat water for our bath lend us her clothes and order food for us..and let su sleep in her bed, super sweet si tata lynne! thanks so much for everything. I miss you! love you tita!

Yipeee!!!

I was able to buy a new software...scrapbook factory! I already bought softwares before for my digital scrapbooking but it was not compatible for vista...so now thanks god that i found this software...more sleepless nights because of this...hahahaha! this is what i made while bianca, kenneth, sef watched the movie high school musical 3 with mama and shanine.

Congrats Nez!

I am very happy that my cousin is already finished with his bs nursing degree! wow! nadagdagan nanaman ang mga nurses sa family. and Congrats to Ninang and Tito Nilo nakapag patapos na kayo ng 2 college, it really is a honor to have your kids finish college nowadays...high tuition, pambaon, pang duty, daily food consumption, attitude ng estudyante, friends ng estudyante...hehehehe...having small kids i have a very long way to go. Congrats to Ninang and Tito Nilo despite all the hardships nagbunga din ang pinaghirapan nyo! May God continue to Bless Us! And Nez we are proud of you!

Papa's Bday

We gave my papa a surprise party again...we had catering services from Arabama, thanks ate alma for the big discounts...everytime we have parties small or big ones we have their services...being a long time suki they really give us big discounts and accomodate us even for a day or two notice..., and because i am so busy with so many things i wasnt able to invite our kamag anaks and my hubbies sister and brother...sorry! But everything turned out ok...i hope papa wouldnt drink alcohol anymore after the stroke he is still pushing his luck that he can drink and can tolerate it, but syempre di talaga pwede because he is taking his meds and he should take care of his liver...I just told him eat and drink what you need and not what you want...I hope he digested what i said...heheheh tigas ng ulo ni papa! Mama on the other hand is of course very stressed about his drinking but thanks that he didnt drink during his bday.

the essence of trick or treat

I am very happy today that the sermon was relevant and the priest justified the meaning of trick or treat...according to him in the ancient times people would go out during all souls day and bring thier kids and dress them up into scarry costumes then go house to house and ask for food in return they would pray for the souls of the departed who gave them the goodies and if they wont give them any food or goodies they would do a trick to them...and there is also a counter part here in the philippines which is "nangangaluluwa" so the houses here in ancient time had a basement but it is just covered with chicken wires or just bamboo where they breed the chickens and if the people go to your house and ask for food they would pray for the souls also and if you dont give them food they ould steal the eggs in your basement...so that was the essence of trick or trea, so let us tell our kids that the next time we do trick or treat we should not forget to pray for the souls of their departed.

clutter free???

...whew...how can i keep the house clean with 3 kids in tow...i am really having headaches because i cant keep the house clean and tidy...everytime i start to clean one place the other place becomes cluttered again...i talked to my sister and she said let the kids play and scatter all the toys and gve them time until they are very tired...like until 5pm then let them have a bath and just cool down and watch the tv...i hope her suggestion would work...goodluck again to the ever busiest mommy!

Sem Break!

It's sem break once again...time flies...my kids are all with me for the whole day because its their semestral break until first week of november...it may be really tiring for me...but i missed their company...imagine we will be together for the whole week... so i should be ready for activities for them like coloring books and crayons...and toys that can widen their imagination like lego...and there should be more biscuits and chips in my pantry since they just cant stop eating... and i should also ready myself for all the yelling and battling...hahahaha....kids now a days are very restless so goodluck to me! PLUS i should know how to divide my attention so than my kids would all feel good...it's really hard raising kids for all they want is attention! attention! attention!

October in our family is the most festive month of all ...of course after the month of december... my eldest daughter just celebrated her 10th bday last 21st of oct. we just had a simple celebration at our house in sampaloc...pansit, cake, chicken, ice cream and pizza...hehehhe all her favorites.
