Bayfront Hotel Subic

We checked in at Bayfront Hotel at Subic and the place was really nice and it really made us feel comfortable and the staff was very accomodating...plus the breakfast buffet was sumptous...my kids enjoyed the omellete mushroom with cheese...yummy ;D

Sunday Mass

We went to mass at Christ the King at e.rod yesterday and my kids were part of the mass they served as the collectors...they behaved all through out the mass...so i was able to listen to the priest all throughout the mass...but sef wasnt able to concentrate because athena kept on shouting "ate" and "kuya"..dont worry athena when you grow bigger you can join them...i'm proud of you bianca and kenneth!

thanks odette for inviting me...at last naka labas din ako at naka unwind sa sobrang tight ng scheds with my kids and the clinic...i was able to attend the seminar and i was able to have my picture taken with my mentor in ortho dr. dacanay, and after the seminar we went to sushiya had dinner and got updated with whats going on...18 years ago we were talking about our subjects like zoology, biolotogy our practical exams...move system...and 15 years ago about how to find patients for clinical requirements then now we were talking about our kids...what to enroll for the summer...whew..time really flies...glad to see you guys...

Happy Anniversary!

Ninang and tito Nilos 24th anniversary! Grabe of all the dates that we would forget...anniversary pa ng ninang ng lahat and tito ng bayan ant spoiler ng mga apo ang nakalimutan...sorry po...super busy talaga...imagine ninang visited the kids last march 9 here at sampaloc with a cake...and i said ninang ano nanaman Yan? ano occasyon? because very mapagbigay si ninang but im worried because dami nila gastos and everything...mem screamed hay! happy anniversary...naku sorry talaga...we will make it up maybe in the weekend nalang...for all your help and for always being there for us...Happy Anniversary! We love you!

Stomach flu

Last january almost everybody in my family was affected with viral infection, either we vomitted or had diarrhea...almost all was affected...then just the other day i was talking to my friends mom and told me they were affected too by the virus...checked it out in the net and this is what i found ...

What is the Norwalk virus?
The Norwalk virus is a type of germ that can cause the "stomach flu." The stomach flu is not the same as influenza. The stomach flu is usually a brief illness that involves nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Symptoms
People with the Norwalk virus can also experience fevers, chills, headaches, muscle aches and fatigue. If you have it, you may actually feel like you have the flu (except that you won't be coughing and congested).
Most Norwalk virus outbreaks seem to happen in the cooler months .

How does the virus get around?
The virus is very contagious, spreading easily from one person to another. That's why outbreaks of Norwalk virus often occur in crowded places like schools, day-care centers, hotels and cruise ships.

If sick people don't wash their hands carefully, they can pass the virus to others. Also, this virus can get on countertops, utensils, doorknobs, clothes and other common items. Some scientists believe that this virus can even be transmitted through the air.

How long does it take to get sick?
Most people start feeling sick 12 to 48 hours after being infected. People who get the Norwalk virus are contagious from the moment they start feeling sick until up to three days after they're feeling better. Some people can be contagious for as long as two weeks.
Fortunately, the illness only lasts about one to three days. Like most viral infections, the sickness goes away by itself without any special medicines.

How do you treat it?
There's no special pill that can cure an infection caused by the Norwalk virus. It's important to drink plenty of fluids and stay hydrated. It may be easier to drink small amounts at a time.

How can you avoid getting sick?
The most important thing you can do is wash your hands frequently. Make sure that other family members also wash their hands and practice clean hygiene.
It's also important to wash fruits and vegetables and clean countertops and doorknobs. Immediately wash all clothes worn by sick individuals.

So let us wash our hands as often as we can and should drink our vitamins and if we have colds stay away from kids!

athena is 1 yr and 9 months... i really cant train her because of my clinic schedule and yesterday i saw mama training her...thanks ma!

barely 3 months to go and it's athenas 2nd birthday...of course im planning a party for her, because she enjoys parties...hehehhe...and her theme is dora the explorer...hehehehhe she loves dora so much...keeps on watching the show again and again...i hope i can find more party favors with the said theme.

Yeheey! we are online everytime now...it's really fascinating that you dont need to connect to a cable everytime you need to use the internet...and pldt's dsl is very reliable...no need to wait for our turn to hook up to the internet...we can access wherever we are at earnshaw...
